MADS CAPSTONE PROJECT (2022)
Visualizing the US
Power Grid
About
WEBSITE IN DEVELOPMENT!
NEW FEATURES COMING SOON...
This website is the result of a Capstone project in which we wanted to share what we thought were some helpful, interactive visuals to better understand what makes up the US Power Grid and also share some blog posts analyzing aspects and attributes of the Power Grid, transparently demonstrating some data science techniques in machine learning, network analysis, forecasting, etc. by sharing code for out analysis and data cleaning (also making the data sets used more accessible to others for further analysis).
We hope you find this website informative and helpful. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to send us a message using the form at the bottom of this page.
Power Grid Dashboards
Github Repository
Here you can find sample data and code used for analysis and visualizations. Code used for data collection, cleaning, creating networks, and modeling are available in our GitHub repository.
Feel free to explore the whole project from beginning to end. We have included the standard README file for instructions on running all code locally. All code is written in Python.
